Oh Hey There!

My name is Michael. Thanks for wanting to get to know me!

The common thread in everything I've done with my life so far has been about connecting with people.

Back when I did musical theatre it was connecting with the audience. When I did YouTube it was talking into a camera and connecting with an audience I didn't even get to see. As a server it's connecting with all walks of life, when they sit in
my section.

Now, as a copywriter and creative, I'm about connecting brands with solutions to their problems and consumers with advertising that not only speaks to them but inspires them as well. Advertising has the power to change the world and I'm here to help make it even better.

As for myself outside of work, I'm an eclectic mess...in a good way. A true extroverted introvert, I'm the type who thrives in social situations and revels in the time I take to recharge the battery.

Traveling the world and experiencing different cultures is a huge passion of mine. Some of my favourite cities are LA, New York City, Chicago, London and Mexico City. I've been to most of North America but soon want to discover South East Asia, Europe and South America.

Music is still a huge part of my life. You can catch me hitting up shows of all kinds, from small indie artists at Opera House to festivals like Boiler Room at Woodbine park. If it's live and has a beat, I'm there. I even still catch the odd musical when I can.

I'm also a huge nerd. I can geek out on the most random of topics. I just love learning new things. History, science, pop culture...anything. Seriously, ask me anything about the Titanic, or Star Wars. If it peaks my interest, I'll watch documentaries about it.

I've been playing in Toronto's LGBTQ+ volleyball league, TSVL for nearly 11 years now. Growing from a kid who never played sports to a slightly above average volleyball player has been a wildly fabulous experience.

Je suis aussi Français! My dad immigrated to Canada from France, met my mom and never left! This means not only am I Canadian, but I'm a French citizen as well. Oui oui, baguette, Emily In Paris!
